Screenflick is a great tool for screen recording and editing video. Silent videos have become a thing of the past (especially if you’re trying to capture audio with QuickTime). With the introduction of Mac Quicktime, screen recording/editing on Mac is a lot easier. Araelium Group developed a small but powerful screen recorder for Mac OS X, originally intended for the UNIX platform only. With the growth of this product in the market, several versions of this product have been released for both Mac OS X and Windows. The main differences in both use and features of screenflick for Mac OS X are the use of screen record and playback controls through the mouse instead of using the keyboard arrow keys and space bar. This feature is a nice addition especially for those who use screen record for promotional and advertising purposes. We can also record a presentation using this feature without the need for extra software to be downloaded or installed like in the case of using a screen recorder for Windows.

Not all software that records the screen will work when sites implement “DRM” to detect that you are recording the screen. Also as soon as you start recording the screen the browser window turns black. Do you know of any software that can fix this? THANKS.
Got the same problem. One solution could be recording your screen with a smartphone… Another, when it’s local TV, using an app as “eyeTV” allowing recording any TV show, BUT you’ll have to buy the licence AND the necessary TV equipment (tuner)… That’s all I’ve found..
