Once you ctrl click the installer, you will see an install error message.
On your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Settings, then click Privacy & Security in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.)
Open Privacy & Security settings for me
Go to Security, then click Open.
Click Open Anyway.
This button is available for about an hour after you try to open the app.
Enter your login password, then click OK.
If you receive the error “Installer.app” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Trash., hold down the Control key and click on the installer. From the menu that opens, click “Open”. The installation was completed without any problems on the M3 Pro Macbook Pro with Sonoma 14.6.1 installed.
