It works on M4 with Sequoia 15.1, however the second time I opened the app, I couldn’t start a new file, the fix for this is to go to the illustrator setting>general and choose “Use legacy “File New” interface, this will do.

There are no templates for the new document because the file apps/AdobeIllustator/NewDocumentProfiles is missing. apps/AdobeIllustator/Resources is also missing. Personally it doesn’t bother me, I’m posting this only to know why it doesn’t work to open a new document from the legacy.
Remove the Install folder from the DMG image before this action (anywhere on your Mac and install it from there) – If you need another language, go to the Install folder before installing Illustrator – products – driver.xml (right-click on it) – open in TextEdit – (at the very bottom find the line “ru_RU” and change ru_RU in it, for example, to en_US so that the line becomes like this type “en_US”.

Installed nicely. No issue but illustrator Generative ai is not working.

Disable: Show the Home Screen When No Documents Are Open
Enable: Use legacy “File New” interface
Option+Cmd+N.
Works fine, the only issue i found is that the app does not show the home screen where all the default templates are shown. And if y go to File–New, nothing happens, doesn´t open the document setup window and i can´t make a new documente. I can only create new documents in File– New From Template or pressing Option+Cmd+N.
Any suggestions on how to get the home screen and working?
if you can not create new document just go to Preferences -> General

Right Click The Installer > Click Show Package Contents > Click Contents > Click MacOS > Then Run The Installation (Install Exec) > This Should Open The Installer.

Firstly, thank you so much. I installed the apps. no problems. However, when I opened the app it’s saying start your free trial of abode illustrator. then it closes. Did I miss a step?

Hi, you have to do some steps.
you must authorize your mac to execute the file. You have to go to confidentiality and security, then to security you have to choose “open anyway” or something like that, I’m French and I don’t know exactly what you’ll see, but you’ll see something to authorize . Originally, your Mac blocks the installation of software that does not come from the Apple Store or digitally signed. for Adobe creative cloud, I only installed the minimum. I open the folder and inside there are 2 folders (Extra and Install) plus a text file called Read Me
> I read the Read Me and it says:
“Install Full or Minimum Adobe Creative Cloud from the Extra folder first.
Minimum ACC Runtime_x86_64 (Intel) or Runtime_ARM64 (ARM) is fine.
Now Install Adobe Application”
> gone to the Extra folder > installed the Adobe Creative Cloud 6.4.0 Universal.pkg >
> went back to the main folder and opened the Install folder > click in the “Install” app

The only way to change the language is during installation.
1- Run “Adobe Illustrator 2024 28.4.1.dmg”.
2- Copy the “Adobe Illustrator 28.4.1” folder to the desktop.
3- Enter the folder >> Adobe Illustrator 28.4.1 >> products.
4- Right click on the “driver.xml” file and choose to open with Text Editor.
5- Find the line “ALL”
and change where ALL is to your chosen language,
in your case put it_IT. Mine is Brazilian Portuguese and it looks like this:
pt_BR
6- Now install Illustrator… Done

Extracted zip file with The Unarchiver, but getting error message when trying to install the app–says that it might be damaged. Anyone else getting this error on Sequoia?
